I'm really glad I came across your video. I recently bought a Dahon single speed bike and while I did enjoy riding it, riding up inclines is absolute hell on my legs and nearly blacked out. Twice. I was planning on upgrading/modding the bike with a few adjustments to make my rides easier. And seeing that a 6-gear hub will not fit a single gear hub really made me rethink about installing a 6-speed hub. It would be better to get a 3-speed hub for the spacing. Overall, it would have been much easier to just buy another bike and just toggle with that instead. That way, all you have to do is swap out the OEM with aftermarket parts.

I feel like im looking into the mirror because this is pretty much the same adventure im going through right now although still at an early state since im unable to remove the damn single-fly wheel and crankset/chain ring, idk how you managed to do so without the dedicated tools but im also no cyclist, i just wanna convert my cycle to a decent multi-speed one instead of the crappy installation and parts the local bike shops in india/Pakistan offer. I also want a wider gears range than the generic 11-24t 6speed the local market has (thatd an estimation)

Me, I'd have just bought another bike and called it a day. Having an off center wheel and brakes is not something I would want, but I will say, awesome job getting your project finished.

My idea was to convert a cool old 1960s single speed cruiser into a multi- gear bike. Thank you for convincing me not to try it- too much of a hassle. Maybe another way would be to install an internal gear hub ??

Finally. I've been searching all over the internet the past month or so to see if I could find a video to answer 'one' question. Can you put a multi speed 'freewheel' on a fixie/single speed hub? And the answer is, yes you can. Thank you so much for all the knowledge and information you provided through the problems you had to solve to complete your project/bike build. You sir are a enigma, an anomaly, better yet, a superstar.

It may be an experience good or bad to this youtuber guy but it seems nightmarish to me to play with my single speed to give it some extra teeth.And to DIY,it is certainly not.

I'm using the official power supply that litterally came with my pi and I get an undervoltage issue. Incredible.

Quick question. I have read online that you shouldn't connect the load the load (in this case, the buds) to the TP 4056 while the battery is being charged, which you have done here. Is it safe to do so? Have you had any issues yet or it works fine? Also, do the buds cut off when they're fully charged while the case is also being charged?

its not the 5v its the 2amps the pi4 needs 3a at least to not get the undervoltage or thats what mine is did.
